Summary

Crazed by an enormous bill for back-taxes, Cyril Sneer plans to go back in time to thwart every Raccoon victory of the past, hoping to enlarge his present fortune. Hurtling through time in the machine hastily assembled by his pigs, Cyril learns the hard way that tampering with history has some serious side effects.

The pigs are working on a time machine, when Cyril and one of the pigs gets trapped aboard. After an explosion, Cyril and the pig find themselves inside, talking to T.O.M., the machine's intelligence program. The machine hurtles them through prehistory, with several notable wins for Cyril. He manages to buy out the Evergreen Standard Newspaper, be crowned by the king and queen of the forest, and even find a treasure that was lost to him long ago. Suddenly, the machine crashes, and when Cyril wakes up, he finds that it was all a dream, and that he has been unconscious for most of a day.
